Port Douglas cheap eats and budget priced dining. Port Douglas is rightfully known for good dining experiences but all to often that is associated with high prices. What this page is all about is value for money, pre-ordering to avoid the waiting times and some BYO options to enjoy a cheaper option for wine with your meal. During the tourist season (July to September) there can be long waits in any of the cafes and restaurants. Port Douglas has ninety eateries listed on Tripadvisor but some of them are not in town, listed twice, have closed or changed names bringing the total to something like seventy-five.

A Port Douglas restaurant, cafe or takeaway does not get on this page unless it offers budget or value dining in some form, be it BYO, early bird specials or just budget priced. Pre - ordering is also a consideration for inclusion here.
